Jones Renshi began training in the martial arts under his father in 1997, alongside his twin brother. Jones Renshi has trained and earned black belts in Gojuryu, Uechiryu, Shitoryu, Kobudo, Judo, Aikijujutsu and Jujutsu. He also holds a 2nd degree blue belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu..

Jones Renshi also followed in his father’s footsteps and became a career law enforcement officer and defensive Instructor. He currently is certified in multiple Defensive Tactics methods, is the head of his agencies Defensive Tactics program and holds the rank of Sargent.
